ความเป็นมาสถาบันสหวิทยาการนานาชาติจักรพงษภูวนารถ

สถาบันสหวิทยาการนานาชาติจักรพงษภูวนารถ

     ได้จัดตั้งอย่างเป็นทางการ เมื่อวันที่ 12 มีนาคม  พ.ศ. 2564 หน่วยงานในสังกัดมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลตะวันออก ปัจจุบันได้มีภารกิจในด้าน การจัดการเรียนการสอนในหลักสูตรสองภาษา ซึ่งเป็นหลักสูตรระดับปริญญามหาบัณฑิตและดุษฎีบัณฑิต โดยเน้นเนื้อหาการเรียนที่เข้มข้นให้มีทักษะ และมีความสามารถอย่างถ่องแท้ในเนื้อหาสาระเพื่อเป็นเลิศในการปฏิบัติงาน ทั้งในระดับประเทศและระดับสากลตรงต่อความต้องการของแผนพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจ สังคมและวัฒนธรรม และสามารถนำความรู้ไปบูรณาการปฏิบัติงานได้จริง สามารถประกอบอาชีพได้กว้างขวาง ตอบสนองความต้องการบุคลากรด้านการจัดการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับธุรกิจการบินและการบริการ หรือธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวเนื่อง ตลอดจนมุ่งเน้นถึงความสอดคล้องและความเหมาะสมกับสภาวะการณ์ปัจจุบันโดยเฉพาะ นโยบายกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม และนโยบายระเบียงเศรษฐกิจตะวันออก (Eastern Economic Corridor: EEC)

เมื่อครั้งแรกเริ่ม สถาบันสหวิทยาการนานาชาติ  อยู่ในโครงการศูนย์การศึกษาด้านการจัดการระดับนานาชาติ (IMSP) ภายใต้สถาบันเทคโนโลยีการบินและอวกาศ โดยมีหลักสูตรมหาบัณฑิตและปรัชญาดุษฎีบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาการจัดการ (หลักสูตรสองภาษา) สำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ สถาบันฯ ก่อตั้งจากความสัมพันธ์และความร่วมมือของ IMSP ประเทศไทยและมหาวิทยาลัยจากประเทศจีน อาทิ Beibu Gulf University the People’s Republic of China, Henan University of Econmics and Law, China , Yulin Normal University The People Republic of China, Beijing Gongxiang Zhihuiyun Education & Technology Co., Ltd , Guangzhou Institute for industrial development in Greater Bay area และ Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts The People Republic of China เป็นต้น เพื่อสร้างประสิทธิภาพด้านการเรียนการสอนและการรองรับนักศึกษาที่เพิ่มขึ้น โดยสืบเนื่องจากการที่มหาวิทยาลัยได้ทำความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานในต่างประเทศเพื่อจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรสองภาษา จนเกิดเป็นโครงการศูนย์การศึกษาด้านการจัดการระดับนานาชาติ (IMSP) ซึ่งได้รับการยอมรับจากผู้เรียนต่างประเทศผ่านความร่วมมือ จากผลตอบรับและผลประกอบการส่งผลให้สภามหาวิทยาลัย มีมติในการยกระดับโครงการศูนย์การศึกษาด้านการจัดการระดับนานาชาติ (IMSP) ให้เป็นสถาบันสหวิทยาการนานาชาติจักรพงษภูวนารถ เพื่อขับเคลื่อนและยกระดับมหาวิทยาลัยให้มีการจัดลำดับที่สูงขึ้น (World University Ranking) รวมทั้งต่อยอดและขยายผลการขับเคลื่อนด้านการจัดการศึกษาในระดับนานาชาติในสาขาอื่นเพิ่มเติม เพื่อให้เกิดความหลากหลายและสอดคล้องกับความต้องการของตลาดแรงงานท่ามกลางผลกระทบ (Disruption) จากปัจจัยของสังคมโลก ด้วยเหตุนี้ สภามหาวิทยาลัยจึงเห็นสมควรที่จัดตั้งสถาบันสหวิทยาการนานาชาติจักรพงษภูวนารถ เป็นหน่วยงานกลางของมหาวิทยาลัยเพื่อจัดการศึกษาและขับเคลื่อนการจัดการศึกษาระดับนานาชาติ โดยประกาศ ณ.วันที่ 12 มีนาคม   พ.ศ. 2564

Chakrabongse Bhuvanar­­­th International Institute for Interdisciplinary Studies (CBIS)

CBIS was officially established on 12 March 2021. It is a project to establish an affiliated institution of Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok. Currently, the mission is to provide teaching and learning in an international program that includes the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Management and the Master of Management with the emphasis of intensive study and producing the doctorate with the skills and competence in the management manner in order to excel in performance both nationally and internationally which meets the needs of the economic, social and cultural development. In particular, the graduates are expected to be able to integrate knowledge to practical operations, work in a comprehensive range of careers, and meet the needs of management personnel related to the aviation and service business or other related businesses as well as focusing on consistency and appropriateness with current circumstances, especially the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Eastern Economic Corridor Policy

First of all, the International Interdisciplinary Institute was in the International Management Study Project (IMSP), which is under the Institute of Aviation and Aerospace Technology by having
a Doctor of Philosophy Program in Management (bilingual course) for international students which was established from the relationship and cooperation from IMSP, Thailand, and many leading universities from China. Additionally, it was established in the purpose of the efficiency of teaching, learning and supporting the increasing number of students as a CBIS later on.

Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok: Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth Campus

In the year 1949, His Excellency Marshal Phin Choonhawan, Deputy Commander of the Army at that time, gathered the capital fund for construction of “Surasakmontree School” to facilitate civil servants under the Royal Thai Army on providing schools for civil servants’ children. There was an establishment of “Children Vocational School of Royal Thai Army Officials” in the year 1973, after that the Army was assigned as the duty of the Ministry of Education to continue in 1974. As an honor and commemorate to the Army, The Ministry of Education therefore humbly asked for His Majesty the King’s “Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth” whom he previously served as Chief of Staff of the Army instead of the name “Children Vocational School of Royal Thai Army Officials” as to “University of Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth”. Thus, the campus will arrange on every 13 June as “Chakrabongse” day for civil servants and people to worship and appreciate His Majesty’s grace.

In 1988, His Majesty King Rama IX graciously granted a new name to that “Rajamangala Institute of Technology“

            Until 2005, the Act of Rajamangala University of Technology resulted in the former Rajamangala Institute of Technology and Rajamangala University of Technology by dividing into 9 universities, which Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok consists of 4 campuses as follows; Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth, Chanthaburi, Bang Phra District, Chonburi, and Uthenthawai.

As of now, Rajamangala University of Technology Tawan-Ok: Chakrabongse Bhuvanarth Campus is one of the prestigious campuses of Rajamangala University of Technology, focusing on educational management to produce graduates who possess Business Administration skills, Management Information Technology, Science, Foreign Languages and Tourism Industry with quality, practicality and creativity that enable them to work in numerous professions.
